Affiliate disclosure
respawn.codes is free to use and is funded two ways: display advertising, and affiliate links in the clearly-marked "related gear & deals" boxes on some pages.
When you buy something through one of those affiliate links, the retailer pays us a small commission. You never pay more — the price is identical with or without our link. This disclosure satisfies the FTC's endorsement guides (and the UK ASA's equivalent rules), but mostly it's here because you deserve to know how the site you're reading makes money.
Our rules for affiliate content
Affiliate links never influence troubleshooting advice — the fix steps on every error page are written first, from official documentation, and the affiliate box is added (or not) afterwards. We only link to legitimate, authorized retailers; we don't link to grey-market key resellers. If a product isn't genuinely relevant to the page you're on, it shouldn't be in the box — tell us if we get that wrong: hello@respawn.codes.
How links are marked
Every affiliate box carries the label "Affiliate links" with a short explanation, and
affiliate anchors use the rel="sponsored" attribute so search engines see
them for what they are too.
Display ads are served by Google AdSense and are labeled as advertising by the ad unit itself. How ad cookies work is covered in our privacy policy.
